The quest for self exploration is not new to humanity. I think I am developing an increasing inclination to that attribute. I have heard that if we place a mirror in a public place, there will be hardly anyone who will not look at it. It is highly interesting that we find there only ourselves whom we have seen at-least a thousand times. But, seriously what makes us look? Is it because of a narcissus in us? I believe that we all look at the possibility of changes, or making sure that we look 'okay'.

My quest for self exploration turns out to be a little different. I am growing fond of the personality tests, emotional intelligence tests etc. Is it because I realize that I am changing a lot, or is it because I want to make sure that I am 'okay'? The result of these tests turns out to be curious. One of the tests proclaims that we all owe our character to some tree and according to my date of birth, it is fig tree, which has the trait 'sensibility'. Another psychometric test describes me as intelligent but emotional, annexed with the advices that I should not blow up to others, I should accept changes as they comes etc. This exploration seems curious and interesting, especially when I visualize myself as a combination of body, soul and mind which can be measured separately by Emotional Quotient, Spiritual Quotient, Intelligence Quotient and Physical Quotient. Let me explore my self image until it satisfies my urge to do so.
