There is something analogous between men and machines. Rather, I would say in a layman's (laywomen's?) point of view that there is something fascinating to see men operating machines- whether it is a big hand typing on a keyboard, or a greasy and black hand operating a fork lift.
And, about the analogy, it is like 'when you push the button, the light glows'. Men are so predictable. Even if they are unpredictable, that falls to the category of 'predictably unpredictable'. I have read a lot, both standard and junk articles about the difference in male and female brain, their physiology and thus the resulting difference in the reaction to the same stimulus. As I understand, there are many subtle differences in the way the brains from men and women process language, information, emotion, cognition, etc.
But I always wanted to believe that the difference is just due to the way they are brought up and after adolescence, just because of testosterone which gives them body strength. And, I really do envy my male counterparts.
But, looking from the eyes of a female, it is really fascinating to see men working with machines and sweating. (No hidden meaning intended)
