I happened to join in face book recently because of my affinity towards word games. I was attracted to the games, word twist and path words which subsequently led to a sign up. And I gained more than 20 friends in a week. What a surprising and easy way to gain friends!!!. Now it is time for a second thought. How many of them are really my friends? Almost none, I would say. We college students have developed a culture of addressing the acquaintances and classmates as friends. And may be because I was stuck on the Standard Oxford English dictionary meaning of the word friend too much that I had the number of friends confined to single digits. Now I have inculcated the habit of “let go”. So it is easy to see these friends as the bonus points I gain as part of Path Words and Word Twist. After all in this voyage, the captain is ourselves it is we who decide which is the light house and which is the star, is it not?

Yas. Who really are our true friends? May be the one we never meet in person.
